A collaboration between the NYC design companies Lichen and Craighill, the Cloud Planter is an unfussy home for your jade, fern, or ficus. Their first collaboration, it finds the two teams exploring a shared appreciation for simple, accessible products that quietly enhance any environment.

When the room is coming together and but it needs a final touch, plants are always the answer. While options abound, the Cloud Planter employs a subtly distinctive material: cork. A renewable resource that is well-suited to a wide array of uses, cork is beautiful, tactile, and fits effortlessly into any space.

The Cloud Planter is made from agglomerated cork with a waterproof resin incorporated throughout the body. It is designed for planting directly in the vessel or dropping in any standard 6” plant liner. It features a beveled edge running around the perimeter to reflect light and provide a single crisp detail, and it’s finished with the Lichen and Craighill logos laser etched on the underside.
